It should be easy…. Fitness ads and the media t It should be easy….

Fitness ads and the media tell us it should be as simple as clicking a button.

Just join our XYZ and you will feel amazing.

When I first started out as a coach in the industry I was naive enough to think that this is what people need.

However after years of coaching if there is one thing I’ve learnt is that it isn’t simple, there isn’t a one size fits all and it’s not easy.

So if you’re feeling like your failing and you’re not getting closer to your goals don’t think there is something wrong with you.

You just need a different type of help ❤️.

Often this involves the things we don’t think about:

🤯 Stress management
🍎 Flexible nutrition that works with the family
😴 Better sleep
🧘🏼‍♀️ Movement that actually fits in with your life
🥰 Improved self confidence and mindset

These things don’t happen over night. But with the right support and strategy in place you can get there ❤️.

The 3 BIGGEST mistakes I made during my fitness jo The 3 BIGGEST mistakes I made during my fitness journey.

On my search for health and to improve my fitness I made a lot of mistakes. Some of which made me unwell.

Here are my top 3 so you don't make them too!

1️⃣ Thinking an app knew my body better than I did 📱

Don’t get me wrong apps/fitness watches can be a great way to track progress & help with motivation. However, you should never solely rely on it.

Remember you are way smarter than your app. Take the results with a pinch of salt and spend time thinking about how you feel rather than only responding to what technology is telling us.

2️⃣ Cutting out whole food groups 🥖

You name it, I cut it out. Carbs, dairy, gluten and sugar. All during my search to try to feel better and achieve my goals.

I ended up with a lot of gut problems and feeling absolutely miserable.

This is why the ladies on my programme get access to a qualified registered Nutritionist and given individual advice.

3️⃣ Thinking that sweat was a good measure of my workout 💧

If I wasn’t on the floor covered in sweat about to pass out I used to believe I hadn’t worked hard enough.

Sweat is not a good measure, there are too many factors that influence it.
